Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sores in the mouth of your toddler can be due to causes like canker sores while can also be due to Herpes Virus Infection causing cold sores leading to Herpetic Gingivostomatitis..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician or a Pedodontist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and advise investigations like oral swab culture to confirm the diagnosis and will be treated accordingly..

In case of canker sores application of numbing gel to relieve pain, cool compresses and vitamin B complex can help..
In case of viral infection antiviral medication like Acyclovir can help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
