Suggest Remedies For Constant And Chronic Diarrhea

I ve had moderate to severe diarrhea for several weeks now. No symptoms, still have an appetite, nothing hurts. My doctor gave me meds, the side affects were brutal, it stopped the frequency but not the diarrhea. I m getting concerned now, my potassium level was fine when I went to the doctor.

Hello,

You are having chronic diarrhea.

The underlying cause for diarrhea should be searched and treated accordingly.

I suggest you investigate with stool culture, serum TSH estimation, hiv Elisa for primary work up.

The anti secretory medicine can be prescribed like racecadotril if stool culture negative.
