Suggest Remedies For Constant Ringing In Ears And Lightheadedness

I have had a constant ringing in my ear for about 4 months, I feel lightheaded all the time and have very little energy. I passed out a couple of months ago, and the hospital did do an MRI which came out ok. I just want to know what this could possibly be a sign of.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This is called tinnitus and may be caused by Meniere's disease or some neurological issues. For your kind information, alprazolam has a direct effect on tinnitus by reducing the perceived loudness of this disease. It is an effective treatment for tinnitus in a large number of patients.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
