Suggest Remedies For Constant Vomiting And Stomach Discomfort

I was vomiting ( 15) all night with severe pain across my upper abdomen. I took Emetrol, but vomited that as well. I went in this morning to urgent care and was given ondansetron odt 8 mg and feel much better, however, I am still not hungry. My abdomen is still quite distended and uncomfortable, and I am wondering what I can do about that. I took some simethicone 180 mg, and it has not helped. Is there anything else I can do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes it takes a while for the stomach flu or food poisoning to clear up. Take smalls sips of fluids all day long.

The Odansetron is good. If you eat to make sure it is something very bland like rice or bananas.

Just give yourself a bit of time and it should clear up. If not, then you need to see a doctor again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
