General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history about a 53 years old female having Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and fibromyalgia, developed rash on abdomen that is slightly itchy, fatigue, headache, mild coughing that did not appear with flare ups.
The most likely cause is viral infection causing all the problems as mentioned by you.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for proper clinical evaluation.
Tests of blood to see if there is infection in the blood.
If the cause is viral then the treatment is obviously symptomatic with Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, multivitamins,
You can apply liquid Calamine to the abdomen.
Cough syrup or antihistamine if the cold and cough increases.
Further investigations and management as per the cause found.
Continue treatment for your old problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
