Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Cystic acne is the severest grade of acne and usually there would be some scaring in those who have cystic acne.
Cystic acne usually does'nt respond that well to topical Or Oral antibiotics.
Isotretinoin is the drug of choice for cystic acne and has the best chance of improvement in cystic acne. It is antiinflammatory, sebostatic and comedolytic in action.
Improvement usually becomes evident within 2 weeks, however, the treatment duration is usually 6-8 months Or a total cummulative dose of 120-140 mg/kg.
It is a prescription drug and therefore I suggest you to seek an appointment with your dermatologist for the needful.
Besides Isotretinoin I would suggest topical antiacne treatment i.e clindamycin or benzoyl peroxide gel as a spot treatment for active acne during day time and topical retinoid e.g adapalene gel, once daily at night to be applied over the whole of affected area.
Laser is not for treatment of acne. Laser is mainly for improving scaring resulting from acne i.e resurfacing.
Moreover it is important to first take control of active acne with appropriate treatment before undergoing Laser for acne scars.
Particularly with regard to Isotertinoin, it is better to avoid any ablative procedure like Laser resurfacing on face while on treatment and for 6 months after treatment.
I suggest you to visit a dermatologist for more details regarding treatment of acne and Laser resurfacing.

Regards
