Suggest Remedies For Deep Red, Itchy, Patch Like Rashes Across The Chin
I broke out in a rash. It is located from jawbone to jawbone across my chin. It is deep red; there are some small bumps, but not all over the redness, just in patches. It itches like crazy and is hot to the touch. I had some clam chowder for lunch about 3 hours ago, but the rash started within the last hour. I have eaten chowder before and have never had this reaction. I have no know allergies. What do you think?
As per your query your daughter have symptoms of deep red, itchy, patch like rashes across the chin which is mainly due to excessive sun exposure, skin infection and could be due to viral infection outbreak.
Need not to worry. You should apply kojic acid cream twice a day after washing face. Apply aloe vera gel at night. Take Benadryl twice a day. Drink plenty of fluids and water to hydrate yourself. Give cold compresses for itchiness.
If condition persist even after month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antiviral medications, steroid drugs or isotretinoin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari,
Dentist
