General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Depression is quite common with Parkinson’s disease, especially elderly,
Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Drugs like SSRI are the first choice.
Always try to keep her engaged.
Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
