hi I have enlarged papillae at the back of my tongue, which are not sore but driving me mad, feels like i have a hair stuck at the back of my mouth. The gp gave me corsodyl mouth wash and ibuprofen, which i have used for 5 days but have seen no improvment. Any ideas?

You need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and treatment can be planned according to the exact cause of the problem and you will get relieved soon.. As of now you can do warm saline gargles, gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia, suck ice pops and drink plenty of water. Continue taking Ibuprofen..
