HI there, I have recently had an operation on my eye, I had an detached retina, and I had a gas bubble placed in my eye, how long does the gas bubble suspose to last in the eye. I had the operation last month.. its been 5 weeks... I can still see it, but my vision is still blurry. just wondering if this is something that I should be concern about. I had a recent check up and I was able to see half things but now I find its totally blurry and I can t hardly see anything out of the eye..... thanks

Oncologist 's  Response
Hello,

Certain skin infections may also cause discoloration, such as: Tinea versicolor. This is a fungal skin infection that can cause patches of skin to become lighter or darker.

These patches usually develop slowly and can sometimes merge to form larger patches.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Esmeralda Sera, Oncologist
