Suggest Remedies For Fever In An Infant

My baby has been given Nan with more than the required number of scoops, this happened for two whole days, i only realised when i tasted the milk and it was too sweet.Right now he has a hot body and is not drinking breastmilk properly.Could it be linked to the Nan or what could be the problem

Hello,

If the child got too concentrated milk formula, he may not be taking enough water with it. So, I would advise you to make sure he breastfeeds often, take the normally diluted formula milk and if he is over 4 months of age, you can add some water as well.
Check his temperature and give him paracetamol if he has a fever. Try to not overdress the child and protect him from heat.

If he still is not feeding well, please or still feels hot, please send him to be seen by a doctor.
