Suggest Remedies For Flare Up Of COPD

I choked on coffee about 2 hours ago and my chest is tight and breathing is shallow. I have COPD, so am familiar with regular symptoms. This feels like I can t get air to the bottom of my lungs. When breathing deeply, I cough. I took 10mg of pred. Should I do anything else?

Hi & Welcome.
You need to take bronchodilator (the drugs the open up the narrow airways) such as Salbutamol or Ipratropium is recommended.
Beside you must avoid smoking or exposure to dust fumes, etc.
Get examined by a doctor for proper assessment.
