Suggest Remedies For Fluctuation In Blood Sugar Level
my mother is around 62 yrs old and for past 7 yrs she is diabetic.since last 3 days there is constant fluctuation in her sugar level.day before yesterday it was 600 then it slowly came down to 280 and then again to 400.doctor,pls tell us the reason of this fluctuation and how to overcome it.

The sugar levels you have mentioned are higher than normal. when such thing happens like after a time when the levels become uncontrolled with the present drug, either the dose is increased or a new drug is added to the present drug.
In a diabetic patient this generally happens as time pass by as the efficacy of insulin still more reduces with time and as a reason, the present drug may not compensate the more deficiency. When this happens persistently, you need to discuss with treating doctor regarding increase of dose or addition of new drug.
