Diabetologist 's  Response
hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

The sugar levels you have mentioned are higher than normal. when such thing happens like after a time when the levels become uncontrolled with the present drug, either the dose is increased or a new drug is added to the present drug.

In a diabetic patient this generally happens as time pass by as the efficacy of insulin still more reduces with time and as a reason, the present drug may not compensate the more deficiency. When this happens persistently, you need to discuss with treating doctor regarding increase of dose or addition of new drug.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
