General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with hurt and gritty eyes following prescription of prism lens for double vision I am suggesting that you have developed an ophthamitis (inflammation of the eyes)

In view of this please take some analgesic and schedule an appointment with your ophthalmologist specialist for expert clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

I hope this helps Regards
