Suggest Remedies For High BP, Swollen Ankles And Calf With Pain In Leg

My right ankle and calf are swollen some and my right leg has been hurting for a few days. My blood pressure is running higher than usual. I monitor it at home since I am an medicine for it and it is usually under control. It is averaging about 160/80. I saw my regular doctor on Monday re: my blood pressure and he increased my Verapamil from 80 mil to 120 mil.

Hello,

Increasing verapamil dosage at 120 mg is useful.

You can try it and if it still continues to be high you can try to add another drug and possibly a diuretic such hydroclorthyaside.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
