Suggest Remedies For Irregular Menstruation Post Child Birth

After 8 months of breastfeeding I got my period and it is rather weird. I had blood for 7days , then it came again after 20days and it was for 9days and I still have a couple of days with blood and then 2 or 3 without and the same over again.. Could this be normal do you think?? Thank you! Helen

Hello,

After a pause of the period due to breastfeeding, some abnormalities are expected due to hormone disbalance.

I think you should take more progesterone-like hormones to make them more regular.

You may need some months for periods to become regular and ovulatory cycles.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
