Suggest Remedies For Irregular Periods And Infected Ovary

Hi, a friend of mine who is 43 yrs old has a son aged 6yrs, has recently (past 2yrs)developed a problem in her uterus like thick mucus, Irregular cycle, associated with Headache and guidiness.

Doctors have adviced for Hysterectomy along with the affected Ovary, Do you advice both the ovaries to be removed or only the affected one.
