Suggest Remedies For Itching And Cracks Around Anus

around anus skin starts itching and i have got cracks at (12 o'clock and 6 o'clock)
positions like skin tearing i have been given ashomidplus tab and prunil oint,lobate ointment but its not giving any relief i am vegeterian kindly help me

Hi,

You seem to have pruritus ani. It may be idiopathic or secondary to some cause. If it is secondary, the cause would be local or systemic. Local cause would be fissure in ano,piles,skin tag,allery,fungal infection..etc, systemic cause would be DM,anaemia,parasitic infection,poor immunity,nutritional deficiency,renal disease or other. It may be psychologic in origin. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and investigations. After thorough examination,investigations.. treatment may be given. You consult dermatologist for firm treatment. Antihistaminic,anxiolytic,antibiotic,antifungal tab may be considered according to cause. Local pathology may be treated. If any systemic disease is found, it may be treated. Mild steroid,antifungal and antibiotic cream may be applied. Sitz bath in dettol containing water is neccessary to keep the area clean.
