Suggest Remedies For Itching In Vagina After My Periods

Hi I am 20 years old and I have been itching really bad around my clitoris and labia for the past 2 weeks since my period. I am not sexually active. I have normal discharge and it does not burn when I urinate. Some told me it might me a yeast infection. I have been using vagisil itching cream, but tends to not work or it burns when I put it on. What do i need to do?
