Suggest Remedies For Itchy, Burning And Swollen Area On Arm Post Insect Bite

I was at a retreat in the mountains 2 weeks ago. some insect bite me on my right arm. The pain was itching and burning at the same time. I did not notice my left eye lid that has had a bump on it. The school nurse saw me yesterday recommend that I place a warm cloth over the lid. I did so. Now this morning the lid and surrounding area in swollen. what do you suggest I do

Hello,

The lid swelling is likely to be due to insect bite. Hot fomentation with warm cloth may provide pain relief temporarily, however, the anti-histaminic drug will decrease the swelling and pain.
