Suggest Remedies For Itchy Dry Skin Patches On Neck

I have been having a problem with dry skin patches. It started on my neck and ended about seven months ago, and lasted for about 5. They are patches that peel, but this is not a dramatic peeling. My skin is so dry it gets shriveled up and my skin burns when I apply lotion. My skin is darker in the affected area. This is now under my lip and it s very annoying. These patches are itchy. Please help me.

Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello,

You have to detect a fungal infection, to determine which specific fungus or fungi are present. This examination is done by taking scrapings of the skin, nail and hair samples, body fluids, blood or a tissue biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Gjustina Loloci, Allergist and Immunologist
