Suggest Remedies For Itchy Red Bumps Throughout The Body
I have red bumps in a variety of sizes all over my body that burn and itch. They started on my torso and moved down to my thighs and have now moved to my neck and head. I have used an oatmeal bath and anti-itch lotion along with Benadryl but nothing is helping. Is this something I should have checked out?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy red bumps throughout the body which is probably due to allergic reactions and contact dermatitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply wet cold sheets on your body to lower down itchiness. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Apply calamine lotion on these bumps. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and get some routine blood investigation and skin patch test done. Take proper prescription of anti-inflammatory drug after physical examination.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
