Suggest Remedies For Jiggling Sensation Near A Head Incision Site
I have cranial pressure and when I move my head just so or clap my hands (was at church this morning), it feels like the back of my head is jiggling. I had a cyst removed from the back of my head about a month ago and the incision still hurts just below where the jiggling sensation is.....
I can understand your concern. It is obvious that while removing the cyst by surgery, some nerve fibers were damaged or destroyed in the surgical area by the doctor. It is inevitable in most cases. As it has only been a month since the surgery, the nerves may not have regenerated completely and might be in the process of healing. This can give you the jiggling or tickling sensation you are feeling. It may last from a few weeks to up to 6 months. So do not worry about it.
However, if you develop intense pain or bleeding at the site of incision or you develop fever, you should contact your surgeon immediately.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you heal well and stay in better health!
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
