Suggest Remedies For Minor Vaginal Bleeding And Burning Sensation

I have some minor vaginal bleeding and a little burning that started this morning. I have never had any issues with infections. I did have a hysterectomy in 2002 for fibroid tumors. I just had blood work done a couple of months ago during my wellness check and had no findings. I do take thyroid medicine that was just changed from Armour Thyroid to Synthroid. Since this is the weekend and I am unable to get into the Dr. until after Monday, should I try something over the counter in case this is an infection?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think this is related to thyroid replacement hormones.
I think you may need to do a vaginal smear to check for infection.
Probably you may need to take antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
