Suggest Remedies For Muscle Cramps

A family member has been snorting pain pills. He has lost about everything. He says he's going to stay clean but having extreme muscle cramps etc. Is there anything we can do to help him? He is using icy hot and bengay for the muscle cramping and he has no access to money and can only leave on foot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
