Suggest Remedies For Nasal And Chest Congestion With Dry Cough

6 days ago developed nasal and chest congestion, soon including diarrhea. Little appetite. Cough during day, becoming much worse at night (dry, irritable cough at night). Have stayed home with soup and lots of fluids.Taking Mucinex DM until yesterday.

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to upper respiratory tract viral infection. Taking antihistamines like cetrizine ( zyrtec ) once daily , acetaminophen and nasal decongestant like phenylephrine will be helpful. You can also take chewable vitamin c. Take tea with lemon and honey also. You should also take proper rest and take adequate fluids. If no improvement after 3 days then go for blood and urine routine examination.
