Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of numbness in tongue which could be because of sinus infection, facial nerve paresis, that is weakness of the facial nerve , oral infection like candidiasis and problem related to tooth infection. Condition like viral pharyngitis or post nasal drip can also cause such symptoms .

I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon and get your check up done. In case it is thrush anti fungal oral and topical medicines can be helpful. Taking probiotics in diet like Yoghurt can help in clearing the infection. Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for nerve dysfunction. Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for throat infection.

Maintain good oral hygiene. Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration and prevent dryness of mouth. If the yeast infection is not diagnosed you can consult a neurologist to get checked for nerve damage.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes,
