Suggest Remedies For Pain After Urination

I was confirmed that I have a disc in my lower back and it is compressing on my lower back. Starting this afternoon it has been painful towards the end when I urinate. Could my disc be affecting it and should I go to the ER or is it a separate problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a urinary tract infection.

The disc in the lower back doesn't seem to be related to the pain after urination.

I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.

Meanwhile, I suggest using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
