Suggest Remedies For Pain And Discomfort In Jaw, Neck And Shoulders
I m having muscle tightness and discomfort in my jaw, neck, shoulders and upper chest. It comes on suddenly even when resting. My blood pressure is great 120/79. Todays episode started around 1pm, eased up a little for about an hour and a half and is now very uncomfortable. It sometimes makes it hard to take a deep breath. I took my prescription Valium and laid down to rest using my cpap but it isn t really helping. Should I go to the ER?
There are two possibilities either you have: Problems in teeth and jaws and pain radiates to neck, shoulder and chest. 2nd is either you have a problem in heart and pain refers to neck, shoulder and jaws.
However to fix it needs a first clinical examination of teeth, jaws and heart region as well. So I suggest you report to an emergency room for evaluation and also see a dentist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr SOHEEL HUSSAIN ZARGAR, Dentist
