Suggest Remedies For Pain And Numbness In Heel With A Prolapsed Disc

Hi my daughter of 16 nearly 17 had an mri scan and has revealed that her l5 s1 disc is prolapsed. She has symptoms of right leg pain and numbness in her heel I had a disc removed myself in 1993 and I am very worried for my daughter. We think she may have hurt herself lifting heavy files during her work experience in a hospital I am taking her to an orthopaedic doctor for advise but would greatly appreciate any advice you may have
