Suggest Remedies For Pain In Left Ankle Post An Injury
Hi Doctor, doc i sprained my left ankle 4 month back.. in the initial days, it was very hurtful. I have done my x ray test..the reports are normal. I had cast for 1 and half month but the pain is still there.. i cannot walk properly. Did icing and elevation and now tired... i am 4 month pregnant as well. So i cant have ibuprofen or other things..i can only use topical creams. Can u advise me wat to do?
A sprained ankle should be settled in 3-4 months, thus, because you continue with symptoms after such time period you will need to have another check to find out the reason. Having x-rays may be needed and also a thorough physical examination. Sometimes after a sprain, the ankle is not that stable and risks repeated sprains and this may be the case with you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
