Suggest Remedies For Painful Itchy Red Rash On The Left Arm
I have had a red rash on my left arm above my elbow for over two weeks now. It burns and itches as well as painful. I have tried cortisone as well as icing but nothing is helping. Some of the spots are open sores or pussy in some of them, this may be from me scratching although I try very hard not to do that. My doctor prescribed Hydroxyz but I have not noticed that it is working. I am open t any and all suggestions, I just need some relief. Thank you, Cyndi

Hello,
It may be due to contact dermatitis.
For that you can apply hydrocortisone ointment locally.
For itching you can take tablet loratidine.
Avoid sweating.
Maintain proper hygiene
