Suggest Remedies For Painful Lump On The Thigh After Getting An Injection
Dear Dr.Rynne On July 14th last I had two ureteric stents removed after troops on right kidney in April and June. I had a double injection in left upper thigh which left a hard painful lump. I don t get pain in it now just sore if I press and small lump is still there. Please should I do anything about it. Was told it was a haematoma which would disappear. Mary Morley (Mrs)

It could be a contusion. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. You can apply ice packs for faster recovery.
