Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Breathing difficulties could be caused by many medical conditions involving the lungs, heart or environmental factors. Some common causes of breathing difficulties include: Asthma, respiratory infections, heart problems, pericardial diseases,
anemia,
allergy, just to name a few.
The treatment of breathing difficulty however depends on the cause. For the cause to be identified, you will need to describe the nature of the breathing difficulty, get examined by a Doctor, some tests like a
spirometry may be needed with some
blood test like full blood count and allergy test depending on the diagnostic orientation of the Doctor.
In the meantime, here are some things you can do to prevent breathing problems:
-If you have asthma or allergy, eliminate household triggers like dust and mold
-Avoid smoking and
passive smoking as much as possible
-Little less strenuous fitness exercises will be helpful
-Get to weight control activities and diet if you are over weight
-Nasal decongestants and anti-histamines may help if you are obstructed
Do not get yourself worked up in thoughts.Just get closer to your Doctor and you will get a solution to your problem.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
