General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an upper respiratory tract infection. A short course of antibiotics can be started empirically preferably levoflox.

Expectorant cough syrup and antihistamine can also be tried. Consult a general practitioner and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
