Dear Parent,

When a child comes in my office with these symptoms, I make sure firstly that the parent are NOT using Aspirin for the temperature. That is a non to do rule. I do the general examination checking for some rashes, or making sure he has not any of the fever pediatric disease such as Kawasaki. Secondly I send them to make complete blood analyses, urine analysis, hepatic transaminases, respiratory control.
Meanwhile, make sure he is hydrated enough (good hydration helps relieve high temperature), use paracetamol to help with the fever, and do not expose him to environments with many people because his immune system is weak.
After the laboratory analysis the patient has to re come to my office to make the right diagnose and proceed the treatment secondly the case.

All the best,
Dr. Eni
