General & Family Physician 's  Response
Acne is a disease of the hair follicles and affects almost all teenagers during puberty. It is not caused by bacteria, although bacteria play a role in its development. Acne occurs when sebaceous (oil) glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated at the time of puberty or due to other hormonal changes. Acne usually improves around the age of 20, but may persist into adulthood.
Advice
1.     Apply locally Clindac – A gel at bed time for a month
2.     Use Acne aid soap three time daily for cleaning your face
3.     Do not squeeze pimples as it will cause scarring
4.     Try to avoid use of unbranded cosmetics unnecessarily
Thanks
