Suggest Remedies For Plugged Left Ear, Nasal Drip And Mild Headache

My left ear has been plugged for days. It doesn t hurt, but it does go between ringing and the sound of constant air flow. I have a little nasal drip, but not much. My head does feel stuffy and I have a mild headache. What can I do to relieve this plugged ear?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of plugged left ear, nasal drip and mild headache. Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons :-
- Ear infection .
- Meniere's disease .
- Low blood sugar and iron level
- Migraine .
Sometimes ear infection occur when infection from upper respiratory tract infection , post nasal drip or sinusitis spread through eustachian tube . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain tests like CT scan , blood test , rotatory chair test , posturography and examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , antibiotics (amoxicillin or penicillin ) at least for 10 days . For now do warm saline gargles and take steam twice daily .
