Suggest Remedies For Profuse Sweating With Headache And Vomiting

I got extremely hot yesterday afternoon. Sweat running down my back but I was inside. Got headache, vomited about 6 times. Came home went to bed. Today my throat hurts way down low in my neck, when I swallow. Ear hurts, some cough. What can this be? I am 57 female, no smoking or drinking. Do no drugs.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You seem to be having a viral infection. This can be a common cold or flu.
Both of these are generally self-limiting and is expected that you should start to improve within the next 3-5 days.
Meanwhile, you should make sure you drink enough water, rest well and eat frequent small amounts of food. Also, paracetamol and ibuprofen can be used for fever and pain.

If you notice no improvement in 3-5 days or if you notice any worsening, you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
