Suggest Remedies For Purple Raised Area Filled With Blood

Labia minora has dark blood filled area (like a line down it) that is not itchy or painful. It looks like a black/purple raised area but doesn t really feel like it. Some areas are darker than the other. It is not multiple spots. I was running and had a new pair of shorts on maybe caused friction? I do have itchiness further down though.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having irritant dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal plus steroid cream like candid-b cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
