Suggest Remedies For Rapid Heart Beats

I m a 48 yr old male .I m overweight but in process of losing weight ..up until about 2 yes ago I had no issue with BP.I just recently went on BP medicine and cholesterol medicine like in the past 2 weeks .I also take medicine for depression ..I ve had acid reflux really bad off and on. I never had that till I started taking this medicine..Now I ve experienced 3 times waking up out of a nap with my heart racing .it last for a bout 7 to 10 seconds and then goes back to normal...is there something wrong with my heart

This is something you need to have checked out Rapid heartbeats can lead to heart attacks. A qualified doctor should make the determination of why your heart is racing. There are reasons that it may race as interaction with drugs, stressful situations, very unusual with eating. Please speak with your doctor or get to the emergency room if it happens again. Nothing to fool around with. Rapid heartbeat can be atrial fibrillation or tachycardia and both need professional help. Please speak to your doctor ASAP. He may need to refer you to a cardiologist (heart specialist). When it comes to the heart do not second guess or wait, it could be serious.
