Suggest Remedies For Recurring Cold, Cough And Breathing Problems In A Toddler

Hi Doctor I have baby boy of 3yrs old At time of infant baby only he is having a breathing problem.. Initially it starts with cold(running nose),and then slowly leads to cough and then he will start breathing harder...please suggest me some solution for this.. Iam using neblizer with asthalin... Is there any side effects with this..

Hello,

The harsh breathing suggestive of stridor can be seen due to lower respiratory tract infection or bronchitis.

The nebulization with asthalin like bronchodilator is usually safe to use. However, your child's physical examination is necessary for further workup according to which treatment given.
