Suggest Remedies For Recurring Cold Flashes And Fever
Hello, Can home to take a shot on Nyqui, seemed to help, sleep for 2-3 Hour.s with Sweat pant s an sock s, woke up, to a fever, took an aspirin to cut the down, I ve been up for the last 2 Hours freezing cold, took a shower to see if that helps. any idea
Viral infection is the most common reason for the symptoms. The use of the aspirin and a shower (should be in tepid water, if cold- body trembles and temperature goes up) should help.
You can also use paracetamol/tylenol- this can be used along with the aspirin.
Additional symptoms that point to the exact source of the infection may develop and other medications may need to be used.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James,
General & Family Physician
