Hello,

I hope that your CT OR MRI head was normal at that time. Usually, antiseizure medication for 3 years is enough but some persons have to take medicines for long. If you have developed a seizure, I advise a fresh MRI brain and drug for another 3 years.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi , General & Family Physician
