General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have a fungal infection. The sweat with warmth produced due to the anatomical site of affected part favour fungal growth.

So along with the oral & local medication, I would suggest lifestyle changes to avoid the recurrence.
- Reduction of weight
- Use of loose-fitting cotton undergarments/all the clothing
- Avoid multilayers of cloths
- frequent baths/change of undergarments when excessively sweating/use of antifungal dusting powdering day time.

Sufficiently long oral antifungals as per dermatologist's advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
