Suggest Remedies For Red Area On Face After Scrubbing A Zit

I had a zit on my face by my lower lip. I scrubbed it really hard with a towel last night and then put a little toothpaste on the zit for about 3 minutes. I woke up this morning with a huge red area on my face. it does not burn or hurt just looks really bad

Hi,

The vigorous rubbing & application of strong tooth paste over delicate face skin has caused rupture of subcutaneous blood capillaries...has caused the red discoloration of skin .there may be old inflammation of the part. Please apply ice pack to it intermittently for brief time.
