Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my son has a few red spots on his knee that are not close together. At first they looked like bug bites, then had blisters form, they itched and we treated with salt water then hydrocortizone cream. Now they are very red but look as though they are drying up. Can you think of anything else this could be? I looked at several photos of skin blisters and such but can t find anything that resembles this?
The symptoms seem to be related to a bug bite. I suggest using antihistamines such as Cetirizine 10 mg one tablet a day. I also recommend using Calamine lotion for local application.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
