General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You may try local treatment with betamethasone twice a day to help the spots fade. Insect bites or a local reaction can be the cause and they can both be treated with local steroids (betamethasone).

Normally they should be better in 4-5 days. If you notice no improvement or if you notice any worsening you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
