Suggest Remedies For Redness And Itching Sensation On The Skin

Hi, My granddaughter has been in and out of the ER all week . She had a reaction to something and started getting hives. So the other gramma took her to the ER. Told her to give her benedryl and sent her home. Well she got worse. She is swollen from head to toe and it is red and itchy. The doctors have put her on a bland diet. No one knows what is causing this. Do you have any sugestions?

Hello,

The symptoms of your grandmother seem to be related to an allergic reaction.

I suggest using Benadryl daily.

I also suggest using hydrocortisone cream for local application.
