hi,
thank-you for providing the brief history of you.
A thorough neuromuscular assessment is advised.
As you have pain in the right leg when you straighten it and two toes are numb as well, I will advice to undergo a clinical neuromuscular assessment which can be helped by a ortho.
As the symptoms looks a combination of inter vertebral disc pathology and
hamstring pull, post clinical assessment it can help guide further.
Also, an MRI might get recommend to you of
lumbar spine to see any
soft tissue Injury. as you were driving for long hours.
Usually for this kind of pain, rest , medication and physcial therapy is advised. Usually patients recover in 3-4 weeks of time. You will be taught proper exercises to strengthen the muscles of the core,
pelvic Floor, spine, hips, lower limbs on both sides.
In the mean time, kindly avoid sitting on a floor, avoid jerking movements of the spine, avoid sqatting etc. the physiological healing will take its own role.
Also, in my clinical practice I have seen cases with such issues and they respond well to
physical therapy after a thorough neuromuscular assessment.
